The teams last morning in London was going to consist of a solid traditional English breakfast, a few local sights and a trip to the airport. However, London got to keep the GASP Iron World Tour a little longer as the team made it all the way through lunch before they realized they should’ve been at the airport.

At arrival in Stockholm, Sweden, Shaun Clarida joined from NY and the team of now 5 is getting ready for a road-trip towards Copenhagen, Denmark in the morning. Shaun is excited to join the team from following the activities the past few days on a distance.

I am so amped up after watching the guys at King's Gym and I am looking forward to the meet ups, the training, the sight seeing and meeting all of our friends and fans!" - Shaun Clarida

Final Call...

The GASP Iron World Tour (IWT) with Branch Warren, Guy Cisternino, Michael Johansson, and Nick Del Toro visited Kings Gym, Croydon, UK on April 2, 2019.

"As soon as I put my foot inside the door of Kings Gym I felt right at home. A real no compromise environment where respect only can be earned from hard work. The owner James Hollingshead greeted me and the team in the door and while showing us around he explained the philosophy around his gym. It was easy to understand why it felt like a home away from home. James told us how he recognize the hospitality and philosophy that we have around GASP and it was clear to me that these values are also the core of how he is running Kings Gym. Traveling the world and meeting great people with similar values sharing a fun #workhardplayhard life is what it is all about."

The team got a workout in together with James Hollingshead and Louis Moylan and they'll be back again tomorrow for more hardcore GASP training!

"Yea, this is one of the best gyms I've been to PERIOD. It's a hardcore bodybuilding gym. There's not too many of those left. They have a lot of equipment. A lot of unique pieces. It reminds me of home. This is a place you can come to and feel like home and actually train like a bodybuilder. I am sure this is one of the places I'll come to when I visit the UK."

Beginning of April 2019 we have GASP team members 

 leaving USA together with videographer Nick Del Toro and CEO Michael for a 10 day Europe tour visiting gyms, resellers, industry friends, and checking out the local sights.

The tour is going to be in-depth and all about the real life in the Iron Sport with both fun adventures and the everyday struggles that comes from traveling, meeting cool people, and crushing it in the gym no matter what.

We’d love to meet as many as possible from our GASP community on this tour and the rest can follow @officialgasp on Instagram for stories and daily updates on our whereabouts.

April 2-3 London, UK (Kings Gym, Croydon)

April 5 Road trip through Sweden towards Denmark

April 7 Malmo, Sweden (Muscle Zone meet & greet) & Halmstad, Sweden (Gladius Gym workout)

April 8 Gothenburg, Sweden (Iron Works Gym)

IRON WORLD TOUR

After a night at a hotel in Stockholm the team stopped to pick up some pre-ordered food for Guy. He's in contest prep and he filled up the van with 4 coolers containing 5 days worth of food. With a packed van the team got ready to spend some time on the road towards Copenhagen, Denmark.

Southbound on the highway they made a couple of pit stops and visited some local sights.

After 8 hours Iron World Tour arrived Copenhagen and the was able to check in at their downtown Copenhagen hotel, grab a quick meal, and head to Loaded Gym dedicated to fit in a workout despite it being 10:30 PM.

A big part of Saturday will be spent at Loaded Gym and it is going to be one of those days to remember when Guy, Shaun and Branch all have arm training on the agenda. Will we see YOU there?

My Van Is Loaded With…

Saturday was spent in Copenhagen. The team visited Loaded Gym for training and mingle and also got a chance to see some of the city.

Loaded Gym is owned by long time GASP friend Stellan Bossen. The gym has been open for 5 years and it recently expanded. Stellan is also, as of 9 years back, the promoter of the fitness and bodybuilding show Loaded Cup. Loaded Cup is one of the biggest amateur competitions in the Nordics.

We took a moment to talk to Stellan and get some thoughts from him:

"If something is black or white it is really good. I have never liked the grey parts. Either you fuckin' like it or your don't. I was talking to a guy the other day and he asked me "What's your plan B?" and I looked at him and said what? I don't have a plan B. I only have plan A. I have never been all about making money, that's not black and white, I am not all about making money. If I don't like it and feel it, I don't do it. The gym (Loaded Gym) I like. It gives me joy. I like seeing people coming to the gym dropping 30 kilos or getting bigger arms or a six pack and getting joy out of it. That's what I like. I like to see people having joy and having fun. If I want to promote another contest (like Loaded Cup) it has to be the best show again. Either you do it all-out or you don't. You like it or you don't. There you go again NO COMPROMISE." -Stellan Bossen

All Out at Loaded

No, this is the fun part of the trip. Again, we are bouncing from city to city, visiting different gyms, meeting different fans. This is the thing I love about this travel. So no, its not a pain in the ass."

The team woke up and left Copenhagen, crossed the bridge to Sweden and headed to Malmö to meet up with pro bodybuilder 

They had a serious chow session at a Middle Eastern restaurant where they had the works brought to the table. The food was everything from starters that consisted of hummus and tabbouleh, to Branch's Masgouf (large fresh water fish), Shauns chicken and rice wrap, and MJ's beef and chicken platter.

After the Muscle Zone visit the team drove to Halmstad to check in at the hotel for the night and prepare for training at Gladius Gym.

At Gladius Gym the GASP CEO Michael Johansson interviewed Karl Svärd, one of the two owners. The other owner is Alex Svärd, Karls brother. Michael wanted to catch what the motivations were to conceive this epic place to train and cater to serious minded individuals. The Svärd brothers wanted Gladius Gym to be a polar opposite to the big box gyms and have its identity based on personal service, as well as being free from unnecessary rules (there are no written rules to be found anywhere in the gym).

Road Trip Getting Brutal?

"We've had an absolutely amazing day and evening at Iron Works Gothenburg! Social belonging, family, friendship, food and all out workouts cranking up the volume. These were the big themes today and our stop at Iron works was one of the highlights of our journey!" - Michael Johansson, GASP CEO

The team made it to Gothenburg Sunday evening knowing that Monday would be a full day at Iron Works Gym with new and old GASP friends like 

. Besides training, the team also got a few meals in together.

"I told you, when you're tired, and don't feel like training, that's when you have the best workouts. Just show up, we've got you."

Branch Warren, Guy Cisternino and Shaun Clarida blasted back at Iron Works Gothenburg in true No Compromise fashion.

Raw Lifting

After a full day in Gothenburg yesterday the team prepared for their road trip towards Stockholm. Before taking off they met up with Christofer Nober for some quick Gothenburg sightseeing.

Branch Warren drove the car to Stockholm, and Nick Del Toro took the opportunity to edit some videos in the back. Check out Branch, Guy and Shawns back training video from at Iron Works 

Back On The Road

London, Copenhagen, Malmö, Halmstad, and now Stockholm! The IWT is hitting the gas and redlining it these next 3 days in Stockholm.

Today they hit up the GASP warehouse in Tyresö and got equipped after a hard and heavy tour this far. Shaun Clarida was given the proper warehouse tour by logistics manager Bjorn Westlund and they get to see some original products with new innovations as well as GASP best selling and most poplar items.

They also went by the Stockholm offices and spent some time with the design department discussing GASP apparel.

Next up its another leg day but this time at one of Stockholm's premier hardcore gyms equipped with some of the best equipment among which are a variety of leg pieces. Shaun and Guy go head to head this round while Branch goes solo on shoulders. Needless to say Branch is bouncing back really fast with strength and size post shoulder and biceps surgery. You all liked the REAL and RAW back session in Gothenburg so stay tuned for Shaun Clairdas chest workout in Halmstad and this leg day at Gymmet in the usual #NOCOMPROMISE fashion!

Warehouse Shopping

Last day at Gymmet in Stockholm and Guy, Shaun, and Branch throws down a proper chest day.

Guy is preparing for his comeback post surgery and Shaun is continuing his growing phase with his first full year preparing for the Olympia in September. Branch is looking like his “ol' swole self” and is preparing to continue the Iron World Tour with a few stops stateside as well as internationally.

"This is an opportunity of a lifetime. If you would have told me when I was in college that i would be a professional athlete, on the Olympia stage and travel the world doing what I love, I wouldn’t have believed it. As I progress and grow in bodybuilding so does the scale of my adventure. This week was crazy awesome visiting so many gyms and meeting so many fans. I can’t wait and I want to continue to do this on another level as I come closer to winning the Olympia!"

Proper Chest Day

Having meetings between our design department and getting input from and measurements of those who actually wear our clothes the most is an important part of the daily work when designing GASP. Guy and Branch contributed with a lot of experience and ideas in todays' meeting.

They also paid a visit to Traningsspecialisten, a GASP reseller since more than 20 years back.

The IWT is finishing this week off in Stockholm with an arm workout at Delta gym, but the Iron World Tour continues 24/7 365 days a year worldwide! Stay hungry, stay ready, and stay tuned!

24/7 365 Days Per Year

The GASP Iron World Tour continues to travel the world meeting people, seeing places, and connecting with others who have passion for the iron sport.

Time for some Monday motivation! We're in China and we have the strongest man in the country with us, Yue Yang AKA the Beast From The East! He has been a strongman champ in China for several years, and he has competed in multiple international meets. Most important, he's been dying to become a GASP ambassador for a long time.

Furthermore, the Beijing police powerlifting team who is going to participate in the 2019 World Police and Fire Games in Chengdu, China, is training at the Beast’s gym (shown in the picture, the Beast himself in center). And Josh Bryant (GASP Ambassador in the USA) is leading the FWPD team to do that meet in China.
