DESTINATION hosts this workout utilizing barbells, strongman stones, racks, sleds and prowlers totally taxing the whole body and every energy system available.

Admittedly Johnnie is tired and back day is typical of the last 15 years (high volume and high weight)... just another day to suck it up.

If you want it bad but someone else wants it more than you and does what you think is too much/crazy/unnecessary... Remember - "Too much" is just enough!

Johnnie Jackson and Branch Warren have always trained without limits. Critics and those who have tried and failed and subsequently given up have and always will spawn comments like, "that's impossible, that's crazy, that is unnecessary, that is too much," when describing the efforts of those going forward and DOING THE DAMN THING. One thing in common with successful people and any mother fucker willing to say "It's possible, I can do it, I am getting mine," is that their mentality IS WITHOUT LIMITS.

Consistency and attention to detail is still king here 48 hours out from the 2020 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic.

Johnnie Jackson arrived today, is slowly carbing up and "will be fully loaded, carbed up and energized" to do business at Saturday's prejudging.

Johnnie discusses some of the Corona virus developments and how it is affecting the fan interaction and how the pros are trying to connect as much as possible for everyone who made the trek to Columbus to compete or to spectate.

The work has been done evidently as we tracked Johnnie's comeback. now it is time to follow protocol and carb up, cut back on water and continue posing.

If you are not willing to do this, there are those that are and will undoubtedly surpass you.

Hence todays collaboration with Fouad Abiad and John Meadows with Hunter Labrada. John Meadows has been an avid fan, historian, competitor, fellow pro bodybuilder and constant hungry student of bodybuilding/body mechanics and muscular hypertrophy. Hunter and Fouad among a lot of other competitors hungry to improve and surpass their own plateaus have studied and learn from John and his countless techniques and methods.

Today the three of them trained back at American Barbell just outside of Columbus, Ohio. With Hunter being 10 weeks out there is "no room for any filler workouts."

Unilateral pull downs : 3 warms ups x 10-15 reps

"Its a little disappointing for me but in saying that, you have to take one step at a time. It is not acceptable by any means but it is what it is. The next one that I go into we will see what we have to fix and improve and all there is to do is to get back in the gym and do it!"

Johnnie Jackson here in Columbus after pre-judging coming back from a 2 and a half year stint away from the competitive stage. He hit the ground running here at the 2020 Arnold Classic to the most competitive line up in quite a few years.

Iconic bodybuilding weekends in iconic gyms with iconic people. Needless to say it makes memorable workouts and reminds everyone why they love the sport of bodybuilding so much.

Here between prejudging and finals of the 2020 Arnold Classic, Hunter Labrada together with his father and IFBB Hall of Fame bodybuilder Lee Labrada hit up downtown Columbus's Powerhouse gym. In typical packed fashion during the ASF weekend they cram in a legit biceps and triceps workout and get to catch up with fans and icons of bodybuilding in one shot.
