We are 24 hours out from the Tampa Pro and Hunter Labrada's IFBB Pro debut.

It is a much anticipated pro debut and one characterized by a saying to focus on doing everything to the best of your ability in the present moment, which for most people feels small and insignificant, to pay off big time long term.

Win the present day which turns into weeks, months and years of doing 100% everything you can to accomplish any goal.

Bryan Troianello has been the man the last few years contributing non stop valuable insight, energy and training partner support that helped Hunter truly take sets where they needed to go in order to prepare for the Jr. USA, the NPC Nationals and now the Tampa pro. Also in the Hunter camp (and this goes without saying) are Robin and Lee Labrada who are also present in Tampa and in this episode.

You are the average of the company you keep. If you don't have good people around you, LEVEL UP no matter what.

We truly blur the lines between work hard and play hard!

GASP CEO Michael Johansson recaps a hectic but epic week with the crew leading up to an epic pro debut win for Hunter Labrada.

_"The camaraderie and traveling and training with the team and seeing everyone help each other is a great feeling for me."

The end result of what we see on stage is impossible without team mates and friends like Bryan Troianello, Jonathan Irizarry and the coaches and family who give so much energy and focus to the ones competing and needing the support at the time. This is what its all about!

Branch Warren has been with GASP for over 12 years now and in 2020 the Branch Warren Classic will celebrate its 13th annual event.

GASP and Better Bodies has partnered with Branch through the years and complimented each other in growth.

Now GASP and Better Bodies are international brands in more than 115 countries and the GASP Supershow Branch Warren Classic has over 500 physique competitors and 9 other events to compete in totaling more than 2000 competitors at last years event.

Despite 2020's mishaps and speed bumps the 13th annual NPC Branch Warren Classic and GASP Supershow STILL took place with a super motivated team of athletes, ambassadors and competitors. The day was complete with duffel bags, wrist wraps and beanies for the crowd and competitors, training with IFBB Pros Leland DeVaughn and John Small between prejudging and finals and Hunter Labrada guest posing in the evening along with the finals, awards and posedowns of the event.

Hunter's first contest was the NPC Branch Warren and now 4 years later he is guest posing with his first professional win under his belt and in route to his first Olympia.

Big thanks to Joseph Cortez and the Forth Worth Field House for hosting the training in between prelims and finals.

GASP SUPERSHOW & NPC Branch Warren Classic - Full Day with the Team

 is busting his ass to bring an improved package to the Chicago Pro BUT at the same time continuing to work hard to promote the new NPLC - National Powerlifting Committee together with 

 owners Robert Impastato and Esther Chou.

A common theme in and around GASP and Better Bodies is tons of badass endeavors going on globally in tandem with other initiatives. Together with Johnnie, Rob and Esther, GASP teams up with the NPLC to be the title sponsor of the first meet which will be held in conjunction with Freddy and Sheilahe's pro/am Battle of Texas event December 5th.

Check back for updates and contest coverage from the Chicago pro in Atlanta and plenty of coverage leading up to the Battle of Texas and the first powerlifting and strongman event under the NPLC.

Our friends Rob Impastato and Esther Chou of Big Tex Gym from Austin, TX traveled up to Destination with a bus load of hungry members for another exciting morning of Breakfast & Barbells.

Not only did the event consist of a hearty breakfast from Dallas Prep Kitchen, intense

training, and Ed Brown & crew being beasts, but also a 18,500lb semi that the bravest voluntarily pulled in classic strongman style.

Thumper Hutchison's truck pull is always a huge hit with newbies and our regular members. As Thumper would say, "The truck pull brings that motivation to destination... ain't nothin to it, just strap in.. grab the rope and pull all the way through it!"

We, GASP and Better Bodies, are headquartered in the United States, which makes it natural for us to work with NPC when it comes to events, collaborations and athletes.

NPC, based in the USA, is linked to the IFBB Pro League with Olympia as the final goal for many athletes. NPC is now growing at a rapid pace in the rest of the world and Europe and the creation of NPC federations and therefore competitions in several countries is gradually increasing.

Our company has a long history of helping competing athletes around the world to achieve their dreams which for some is to compete at the highest level in the United States.

Among our athletes that we have in the team today, a predominant part is already competing in, or wants to compete in the NPC both on local and international levels.

As we have done for over 30 years, we see it as our duty to help develop the industry in a direction we believe is a good path for our brands and our athletes. Based on our history and home base, what the industry looks like today, and where we see that the sport is heading, it is logical for us to choose to work together with NPC.

We are currently planning, together with our former partner, our first NPC competitions in Sweden and hope that you want to be part of our journey!

NPC Worldwide Competitions In Sweden 

Athlete meet-up at the newly opened Fitness Force in Trelleborg! A day that offered a lot of laughter and a wonderful time with some of our athletes in southern Sweden who had the opportunity to come! Occasions like this that have become extra important and appreciated in these times.

The newly built gym Fitness Force is owned by our athlete Oliver Adzievski. Oliver has been with GASP since the very beginning and is still actively competing. He shares the following:

Our athletes Ahmad Ahmad, Pierre Ericsson, Martin Troive, Dino Cordic, Samir Troudi, Marcus Salomonsson and our badass ambassador Malin Nilsson joined us this day.

We started the day with a gym workout together. There is a mutual appreciation in getting

together with like-minded people over a common passion! To push each other, learn from each other and above all have fun together and just enjoy each other’s company.  And it's always exciting to try out new gyms, machines and equipment.

Fitness Force did not disappoint any of us, as Oliver has invested in having really good machines and equipment on site. For example, the lying leg press model at Fitness Force, is

Then a nutritious lunch was served! Grilled chicken and/or salmon with rice, sweet potatoes or bulgur and salad, served with fresh sauces or oil. A moment to recharge with energy and talk about everything from training and fitness to life in general.

And we recharged our batteries for the upcoming paddle tournament. Fitness Force doesn't only offer a high-class gym for everyone, but also paddle court! Something that has become extremely popular in Sweden. Of course we wanted to test our athletes and see if they are as good with ball and rack as they are with dumbbells! Impressively enough, everyone delivered their A-game! Nothing less was expected, however, as we are dealing with a bunch of winner mentality people. The athletes who can now call themselves the team's reigning paddle champions were Dino and Marcus! (Maybe expected as they alternate their gym training with continuous paddle).

CEO Michael Johansson popped in from Dallas, USA through Facetime, which brightened the day even more! Later, the evening was rounded off with a LIVE Q&A with Samir Troudi and Martin Troive on Instagram via our account @ironworldsweden.

Athlete Meet Up At Fitness Force Trelleborg

How do you define "win" or success? For each individual it has to be how you yourself define it, NOT how society identifies it.

In the context of this video with the likes of Shaun Clarida, Keone Pearson, Derek Lunsford, Hunter Labrada, Brett, Ivana, Jo and Ben, winning absolutely refers to being the best bodybuilder on the planet. For yourself, defining success has to come intrinsically which is a tad more complicated because (excuse the philosophical talk) it has to be cultivated for you by you and who you surround yourself with.

Here we just encourage you to find your passion and purpose and then to give everything you have to pursue it without regrets or excuses.

The month of March was action packed which you've seen if you've been keeping up with the content. We had a ton of our athletes including Shaun Clarida, Keon Pearson, Jon Irizarry, Jen & Chase Peterson, Ben Chow, Brett & Ivana Wilkin, and a few more come to Destination Dallas to get crazy pumps and be photographed by the famous Per Bernal.

Meanwhile this was happening, our CEO Michael Johansson was dealing with a shoulder injury he sustained while riding his dirt bike. Eager to get back in action, MJ stepped outside his comfort zone and booked a trip to see specialist Dr. Curtin and Dr. Kaleb Redden in Boise, Idaho to repair his shoulder and document it all.

Finding your own version of winning and success wont be easy and acquiring it wont be without struggle, some bumps bruises and pain BUT you have to "Die trying. You have to be willing to burn the boats and have no plan B and give it all you have."
